Why do I need a ACK-600 AC Power Adapter?
AC Power Adapters are a great way to save battery power when in a home or studio environment where there is AC power available.

Proper operating procedures for Accessory Power ACK-600 replacement Camera AC Power Adapters

1. Since ACK-600 replacement Power Adapters use a sophisticated ICC (integrated computer chip) technology it is important to use your new adapter indoors in a dry location.
2. ICC technology provides 2-way communication between your camera and the Accessory Power ACK-600 replacement Power Adapter. This will prevent overload and provide short-circuit protection.
3. Proper care of your ACK-600 replacement Power Adapter will provide for many years of quality use.
4. One common mistake is trying to plug into the camera video input. Refer to your owner's manual to find the proper DC input port to plug in your AC Power adapter; often this can be hidden under a protective cover.
5. Never remove your ACK-600 replacement Power Adapter by pulling on the cable. Grasp the connector plug that plugs into the camera or the AC plug that goes into the wall, and gently pull that plug to remove.
6. To prevent electrical shock (and to prevent voiding your warranty): Do not disassemble the ACK-600 Accessory Power AC Power Adapter.
7. To maintain your ACK-600 replacement Power Adapter, it is best to remove the power adapter from the camera and from the wall when not in use.

Both these items are even better than advertised. The adapter is quick and easy to use for my digital camera and the tripod is fantastic, holds the positions nicely. Thank you.
