    This product performed exactly as promised. Some of the reviews I read prior to purchasing gave lower reviews based on the fact that the unit can only charge to 50% on solar power. This is not the fault of the product, but a simple fact of physics. It was very easy to get a full charge in the hotel before my camping trip, though. This product delivered exactly what I expected. What was also impressive is that I received two followup emails from the Accessory Genie customer service dept. asking about my experiences with the product. Excellent. I would recommend this product and company to anyone.

    i have to be honest i don't like writing review. but i have to say that as soon i received this product with in a few days i accidentally left it outside the house and it rain that night. it was dripping wet when i got it outside. I never though that it will still work after being wet and everything. but after drying it with a towel and putting it close to a fan. It work the next morning and never seem to have any problem. it still work, all though it takes forever to charge the 6 hour solar part. still this is a handy device. highly recommend

    I put velcro on it and wore this charger on my hat when I hiked to the Everest basecamp in April. Its light weight convenient and even charges slightly when not in direct sunlight, such as in the tent. It wasn't enough to keep all my small usb gadgets running on only solar (Treo phone, Sony reader, AA/AAA battery charger) as I like to listen to music, books and read many hours a day and we often had no light in the evening. But it was a great supplement. I found it much more portable than a larger Nomad that did not have a battery but put out considerably more power. In the future I plan to carry more of these. I also use it as an extra battery on airplanes to keep my phone and reader running longer. Not sure of life length but it stood up well to a strenuous hike. Im not sure if battery is replaceable but that would make a great addition if not.

    I took this camping and used it to top off my iPhone 4 after I charged it while I was showering. 6 hrs of sun will give you around a 50% boost on the phone. Good price and it comes with a pouch to store it in. I like it because it has a USB port instead of connectors

    First five stars to Accessory Genie fast shipping. The product quality is very good. I had charged my HTC HD2 and my Samsung mobiles with no problems. AC and solar charging working well. I highly recommend this product

    I am so happy to have found a solar charger that works! This kept the power to my phone through a day at the beach and an all day plane flight. There are even suction cups that let you stick the unit to the window to recharge your device during the flight. Only drawback is that the AC adapter broke after the first use. The retailer promptly replaced it free of charge! I am very happy with my purchase.
